hansgrohe expands its portfolio with new FinishSets for the iBox universal 2
Schiltach, March 2026. With new FinishSets for the iBox universal 2, hansgrohe is expanding its range of concealed installation solutions at the Essen trade fair. The line-specific bath and shower FinishSets mirror the design language of the existing faucet families and cover a total of eleven product lines – including Rebris, Vernis, and the new Neovis faucet range. “Our goal is to noticeably simplify everyday work for installers – without compromising on design or individuality,” explains Volker Stark, Managing Director of the company’s German subsidiary. To make this advantage tangible and hands-on, hansgrohe is showcasing the new FinishSets with a live installation demonstration directly at the sanitation trade fair.
The next generation of concealed installation
The hansgrohe iBox universal 2 continues the success story of the original iBox universal launched in 2001. The ingenious idea: one installation unit for all applications. This concept was further developed and modernized in 2023. The updated version features additional preassembled components and an integrated alignment aid, saving steps, time, and stress. It is compatible with all common connection types and enables precise, reliable installation as well as greater design freedom in front of the wall. More time savings for everyday installation work With the line-specific FinishSets for the iBox universal 2, adapters are no longer needed. The new concealed solutions fit together with the latest iBox base unit like a puzzle piece. Thanks to the cable‑tie principle, the preassembled components snap into place without the need for tools. This further reduces the number of installation steps and ensures a faster, error‑free setup.
Comfort at the touch of a button
The flat escutcheon with a height of just 9 mm creates a minimalist appearance while offering more freedom of movement in the shower and bath. Handling is intuitive as well: the flush‑mounted Select diverter makes it easy to operate the bath drain at the touch of a button. The combination of the iBox universal 2 and the new FinishSets also ensures noticeably more quietness. The decoupled water‑bearing components minimize flow noise, achieving the quietest noise class 1.
Cohesive design from a single source
In addition, the expanded range offers great design variety. A broad spectrum of eleven styles follows the design principles of the existing faucet lines, creating a harmonious look at the washbasin, in the shower, and at the bathtub. With the seamless portfolio, customers can now carry their preferred style throughout the entire bathroom. Numerous customization options are available: up to six FinishPlus surfaces and three shape variations – square, round, and soft square.
