Hansgrohe Group publishes its 2025 Sustainability Report

Hansgrohe makes sustainability measurable using ESG criteria and demonstrates operational progress

Schiltach, May 2026. In a challenging market environment and against the backdrop of increasing regulatory requirements, the Hansgrohe Group is presenting its 2025 Sustainability Report. The report highlights how the company systematically manages and advances sustainability. In the past year, the company generated revenue of 1.375 billion euros while implementing measures for climate protection, resource efficiency, and responsible corporate governance.

A high proportion of renewable energy in production, progress in international sustainability ratings, the increasing use of recyclable materials, and a broad portfolio of water- and energy-efficient faucets and showerheads demonstrate how the Hansgrohe Group operationalizes sustainability and embeds it in its business model.

The report organizes the topics across the areas of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG): The environmental section provides information on the reduction of emissions, the further development of resource-efficient products as part of the “ECO 2030” initiative, and the use of renewable energy—including 98 percent renewable electricity. In addition, Hansgrohe addresses material cycles, waste management, and the use of recycled materials.

Sustainability as a guiding principle

In the social sphere, the focus is on working conditions, occupational safety, and equal opportunity. The company’s ongoing development as an employer is evident in areas such as professional development, health, and family-friendly policies. Awards such as “Top Employer” and “Best Place to Learn,” as well as an 81 percent employee satisfaction rate - as determined by an international survey conducted in 2025 - underscore this progress. In the area of governance, the focus is on compliance, corporate culture, and risk management. Hansgrohe relies on clear guidelines, training, and internal control systems, as well as whistleblower systems and binding supplier standards.

Starting with the 2027 reporting year, the company is required to report in accordance with the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). Already today, the report’s structure and methodoly align with CSRD guidelines and the EU taxonomy. In doing so, the Hansgrohe Group is proactively laying the groundwork for future regulatory requirements while simultaneously enhancing transparency and management control within the company.
