Schiltach, June 2022. Hansgrohe SE is taking the next step in sustainable operations. By signing the WIN Charter, the Black Forest-based manufacturer of faucets and showerheads, has officially and verifiably committed itself to ecological, economic, and social responsibility. "The guiding principles are intended to have an impact in a wide variety of areas. For example, in addition to reducing emissions and our focus on product stewardship, we are also committed to the well-being of our employees, investing in sustainable innovations, and continuing to add regional value with our company," explains Hans Jürgen Kalmbach, Chairman of the Executive Board of Hansgrohe SE. "We look forward to the inspiring exchange with the other members of the WIN Charter network." Hansgrohe is the 300th company from Baden-Württemberg to commit to the charter.
Rebecca Weigold Team Leader Sustainability explains: "We believe we are already well positioned in many areas relevant to the WIN Charter. In our corporate mission, we have manifested the value of "responsibility for people and the environment". We are therefore also focusing on these aspects in the WIN Charter. Our employees are our greatest asset, so their well-being is very important to us. At the same time, we aim to create incentives for a change in thinking, because this is important to reduce energy and emissions and meet our climate protection targets."
