Who operates the day-care center?
The day-care center is run by pme Familienservice GmbH. This operator runs more than 90 day-care centers, back-up centers and family cribs throughout Germany.
Which pedagogical concept does the day-care center follow?
The pedagogical care concept of pme is based on the orientation plan of Baden-Württemberg and focuses on promoting language development, multilingual education and interest in science, technology, music, art, nutrition and movement. The children are accompanied and supported in such a way that they develop joy in speaking and in dialogue as well as an interest in picture books. In addition, they should learn to listen actively and to communicate thoughts and feelings in a linguistically differentiated way. With the help of movement education, the children learn to assess themselves, explore their limits, strengthen their cooperation and communication skills and reduce aggression. The children also discover their joy in dealing with shapes, quantities, numbers, space and time or learn to consciously perceive their environment with all five senses through visual and performing arts.
