Our locations for your success story
Technology, design and trend-setting in the middle of the Black Forest? You can do that, too, at Hansgrohe. The best thing: you’ll find a vast range of recreational and leisure offerings around our headquarters in Schiltach and the locations in Offenburg, Willstätt and Alpirsbach. And diversity is already a given in the border triangle of Germany-France-Switzerland. To be precise: This is pure quality of life.
The Black Forest: our home for design and innovation
Schiltach: the Hansgrohe headquartersSchiltach, the romantic small town with half-timbered houses and a population of around 3,950, is located in the upper Kinzig valley in the Black Forest. The face of the town has remained virtually unchanged since the Middle Ages. To this day, Schiltach is known as the town of half-timbered houses, rafters and tanners. Although its historic roots are visible wherever you look, Schiltach is a modern city with large, globally active companies.
Offenburg: the home of shiny faucets and showersHere, embedded in one of the most scenic areas of the Black Forest, is where culture, history and recreation converge. With around 59,000 inhabitants, Offenburg is a genuine feel-good city nestled between the Rhine and the vineyards, in the heart of the wine paradise of Ortenau. Attractive shops, cozy cafés and a popular weekly market invite you to stroll through the historic city center. Offenburg lies 20 kilometers southeast of Strasbourg (France), at the foot of the Middle Black Forest.
Willstätt: where shower hoses and wall bar installations ariseWith around 9,800 inhabitants the town Willstädt is located in the northwest of the Ortenau county and just outside the gates of the European-City of Strasbourg. Willstätt is characterized not only by a wide range of leisure and cultural activities, but also by the easy accessibility – also Offenburg is only 20 minutes away by car. Interesting: Not only the river Kinzig connects the communities Schiltach and Willstätt, but also the centuries-old history of rafting.
Alpirsbach: Trade fairs and exhibitions par excellenceIn the middle of the Northern Black Forest lies the idyllic town of Alpirsbach, with a population of around 6,700. The cityscape is shaped by the more than 900-year-old monastery complex located there. For centuries Alpirsbach has been brewing delicious beer made with the famous brewing water drawn from the Black Forest – the Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu.
