Simple, convenient and sustainable: hansgrohe Aqittura M91 turns tap water into optimized drinking water thanks to innovative filter technology. The system of the faucet novelty mineralizes the tap water according to the customer's taste. This is achieved thanks to the optimized hansgrohe WaterRefinement plus water management system. The specially developed mineralization and filter technology MinTec® is behind this harmonizing effect. With five individually selectable filter types, it is possible to enrich tap water with minerals and filter out harmful substances. Drinking enough water supplies the body with important minerals and can also support a balanced diet. Impurities in tap water such as heavy metals are eliminated by the powerful activated carbon filters in two variants when tapped.

SodaBase: The Heart of the System

SodaBase is the heart of hansgrohe Aqittura M91. It not only houses the mineralization and filter cartridges described above, it is also responsible for the temperature control, as well as the carbonation of the water. The customer can call up the water temperature and fill levels of the filter cartridges via its user-friendly interface. Thanks to its reduced design, the compact core of the new faucet with water management system and carbonation unit disappears easily and flexibly into any kitchen base cabinet. The SodaBase does not have to be placed directly under the sink or the faucet. In this way, hansgrohe Aqittura M91 cleverly fits into any kitchen.

The SodaBase also inherits the integrateable filter cartridges for enriching the water with minerals. A total of five different filter types with different application benefits are available. This range consists of three mineralization filters and two activated carbon filters. The mineralizing filters (Harmony, Life and Sport) contain different formulas and add different amounts of minerals (sodium, potassium, magnesium and calcium) to the water. Upon purchase, the faucet is offered with the 'Harmony' filter cartridge. The high-performance activated carbon filter minimizes 95 percent of contaminants and other interfering particles for improved water quality. The ion exchanger with activated carbon filter provides double protection and prevents limescale formation especially in areas with hard water. The activated carbon filter with ion exchanger binds lime-forming ions for an even better taste and carefree, safe enjoyment. All filter cartridges can be purchased via the most popular online trading platforms.

The smartphone can also be used to check the cartridge status and order new cartridges. Thanks to the efficient and environmentally friendly cooling and carbonation unit, the water is cooled back down to the desired temperature within a few minutes after each tap. The temperature can be adjusted in five steps from 4 to 12 degrees Celsius using the button directly on the base. The integrated and swiveling CO2 universal cylinder connection allows the freedom to purchase commercially available CO2 cylinders at the retailer.
