A Golden Evening for the Design Brand AXOR

iF Design Award 2023: Hansgrohe Group honored for outstanding product design

Schiltach/Berlin, May 2023. The international design competition iF DESIGN AWARD once again identified the crème de la crème of product design achievements in various disciplines with particular relevance for society and everyday life. A high-caliber international and independent group of design experts evaluated more than 11,000 entries from some 56 nations. Less than 75 competition entries were rewarded with the iF GOLD AWARD for extraordinary design achievements. The outstanding achievements of the Hansgrohe Group and its brands was recognized with 16 iF DESIGN AWARD 'Winner' labels and one iF GOLD AWARD.

The AXOR ShowerComposition designed by renowned designer Philippe Starck received the coveted iF GOLD AWARD. The jury highlighted the shower composition's ultra-flat design and its variability and modularity. Thanks to a variety of striking surfaces and combinations, it opens up numerous possibilities for bathroom design. Also given the 'Winner' label were the new AXOR Suite washbasins, the AXOR Suite bathtub, the AXOR Rectangular Accessories and the AXOR Drains portfolio extension.

Premium brand hansgrohe was also pleased to be taking home eleven awards in various product categories. The supplier of holistic bathroom experiences impressed with its new product categories, among others. The washplace was honored: Winner labels were awarded to the hansgrohe Xelu furniture series, the functional and eye-catching Xelu and Xuniva vanity collections, and the hansgrohe Tecturis line of faucets, which are technically matched with the basins. The bathroom is perfectly rounded off with the hansgrohe Xarita LED mirror range and the hansgrohe EluPUra WC range, so the international design jury finds. The shower area with the shower collection hansgrohe Pulsify, the new edition of the iconic concealed unit iBox universal 2 with matching shower thermostat hansgrohe DuoTurn and ShowerSelect Comfort, as well as the textile shower hose DesignFlex, were also honored.
