hansgrohe Pulsify Receives German Innovation Award in Gold

Gold for the hansgrohe innovation Pulsify: The new shower line by the premium brand from the Black Forest was presented to the public on May 18, 2021 as the winner of the German Innovation Award in Gold in the online gallery of the German Design Council in the category "Excellence in Business to Customer - Heating and Bathroom".

The German Innovation Award honors cross-industry products and solutions that, compared to previous solutions, distinguish themselves primarily through user-centricity and added value. The jury of experts explained the award for Pulsify with the following arguments: "The new Pulsify shower system impresses with a clear, timeless design that can be harmoniously integrated into many modern bathroom environments with its various sizes, color combinations and model variants, while offering a high degree of design freedom. Also noteworthy is the new PowderRain spray. With its ultra-fine water drops, it not only ensures a particularly pleasant showering experience, it also helps to reduce water consumption by up to 60 percent. It's impressive how customer benefits, sophisticated design and sustainability have been combined here at an aesthetically high level." The hansgrohe brand is particularly pleased with this outstanding evaluation. "Our innovation process always symbolizes a triad of people, space and product. The bathroom, as with the rest of the home, should reflect personal living styles, resources should be used sustainably, and a feel-good atmosphere should be created. What makes Pulsify special, is its modern aesthetics, the water-saving PowderRain and the patented Select technology. This is how we create a unique and sustainable shower experience. Also honored with the German Innovation Award ‘Winner Label’ were the modular storage system hansgrohe WallStoris, the user-friendly hansgrohe home app and the innovative DogShower.

A total of 680 submissions from German and international companies from a wide range of industries were accepted for the German Innovation Award 2021, including not only many well-known brands, but also hidden champions and start-ups, which were judged by the high-caliber, interdisciplinary jury of experts from the fields of product design, marketing, computer science, technology history, physics, patent consulting and financial services. The German Innovation Award is presented in a total of 40 categories, divided into two competition classes: 'Excellence in Business to Consumer' and 'Excellence in Business to Business'. In addition, a winner was selected in the special category 'Design Thinking'.
